Loveart& Candle Making with MIKA Community Development

Loveart& collaborated with Mika Community Development in Costa Mesa, Ca. We made scented candles with the youth at Mika to help with their fundraiser to go to camp! Loveart& showed the group how to melt down the wax, add the essential oils for scent, and pour into recycled jars or a recycled vessel of their choice. We look forward to working with Mika again!!

Loveart& Girl Scout troop 2919

Loveart& collaborated with Girl Scout troop 2919 in Newport Beach, Ca. Together we made terrariums inside of recycled plastic water bottles. Instead of the water bottles becoming trash, we created our own personalized ecosystems!

Loveart&…Next Up Foundation & Hurley

Loveart& was invited by the Next Up Foundation to do a DIY t-shirt surface design workshop for the participants at their Santa Ana location. Next Up Foundation works with kids and teens in underserved communities providing guidance through skateboarding and supplying them with skate equipment, mentoring and supervision. The t-shirts for this workshop were generously donated by Punker Pat Towersey of Hurley. Using the fresh new Hurley tees, the kids hand-cut stencils and created thier own unique surface designs using tape and fabric paint. So easy and so rad!!
