Loveart& made fossils with the second grade at Garfield Elementary in Santa Ana, Ca. We just recived letters from a few of the students who participated in this Loveart& worksshop. A huge smile comes across my face when I read these letters, couldn't wait to share them with the world!                

Loveart& provided a workshop for the 2nd grade at Garfield Elementary in Santa Ana, CA. While the students were learning about life cycles and fossils, Loveart& created a workshop that showed them how to make a fossil using seashells, sand and plaster.        

Loveart& is excited to announce that we will be working with Ms. Boyer's 4th grade class at Fremont Elementary in Santa Ana, CA. We will do a year-long series of workshops with the class that use creativity to explore and reinforce  Social Science, Language Arts and Science concepts.  

Creativity, Confidence, Problem Solving, Perseverance, Focus, Non-Verbal Communication, Receiving Constructive Feedback, Collaboration, Dedication, Accountability. Loveart& was invited to do a terrarium workshop (using recycled plastic water bottles) with  Mrs. Boyer's 4th Grade class at Fremont Elementary in Santa Ana!  We helped to reinforce their recent lessons on the regions of California and parts of a plant. We also front loaded their upcoming lesson by introducing them to the concept of Ecosystems. Good Times !

For the last workshop in this DIY series at SOY Center in Costa Mesa we made dream catchers using recycled bangle bracelets, found sea shells and feathers.

For the kick off of our 2nd DIY Skill Series with the SOY Center in Costa Mesa, CA we made own own body lotion using 100% organic ingredients. So simple and so rad !! Click here to watch the video

This week we explored making our own soap using natural shea butter, organic essential oils, dried flowers, and recycled paper bags to create personalized labels and wrapping. We explained the importance of ingredients and reading the labels to ensure you are not using products that are harmful to the environment or your body. Everyone had a blast with this easy, DIY, inexpensive project – great for your skin, good for the environment and makes an excellent gift!! click here to watch the video
