jenn loves the outdoors, surfing, sun and photography. originally from the chesapeake bay in solomons, maryland, jenn went on to graduate from the university of maryland with a degree in international relations.
after moving to california, jenn attended the san francisco art institute for photography and afterward began her long-standing involvement with arts non-profit organizations including, the headlands center for the arts and the luggage store gallery, in the areas of communication, finance and management.jenn holds a california teaching credential and has taught high school in san francisco. she believes that everyone, especially young people, should have access to creative outlets and inspiring encounters; and that these opportunities have the power to broaden perspectives and transform lives. click here to see some of jennifer's work
a native californian, shannon was born and raised at the beach. she embarked upon her love of the outdoors, surfing and art at a young age and became one of the first girls on her jr. high school surf team.
shannon lived in san francisco while earning her ba in clothing design and textiles from san francisco state university. not long after college, she wanted to surf more and be closer to her family, so she headed south.
shannon's love of central and south american culture lead her to complete an ma in clothing design and textiles with an emphasis in brazilian culture from cal state los angeles in 2010. her work includes a collection of handmade tshirts, textile and surface design, brazilian studies, teaching at csula, merchandising for levi strauss and working with the youth skateboard program for the city of costa mesa, california. click here to see some of shannon's work.
